Joseph Negri
Founder and CEO

Joseph Negri is the Founder & CEO of Evergreen Residential. Prior to launching Evergreen in 2021, Joseph had 13+ years of experience in the residential debt and equity markets. Most recently, Joseph was part of the 2012 founding team at Amherst Residential and Co-Head of the Institutional Single Family business unit until his departure. During his tenure, Joseph was responsible for overseeing asset and capital management, investments, portfolio management and investor relations for institutional clients. Joseph played an integral role in launching and managing the SFR investment infrastructure, establishing policies and reviewing potential investment markets. Other notable accomplishments include underwriting and transacting on more than $6 billion of single-family real estate; being instrumental in the design and growth of the property management operating platform, Main Street Renewal, LLC.; and spearheading the design and implementation of Amherst Residential’s Asset Management division, which oversees daily investments, leasing and capital expenditure activities for the platform.
Joseph began his career at Five Mile Capital where he worked as an Associate focusing on residential real estate debt investments, including the acquisition and asset management of Five Mile’s residential whole loan portfolio. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Villanova University.
William Lehner
Co-Founder and CFO

William Lehner is the Co-Founder and CFO at Evergreen Residential. Prior to joining Evergreen Residential, William spent three years at Amherst Holdings, most recently as Senior Vice President of Structuring and Execution. In this role, William was responsible for evaluating prospective portfolio acquisitions and sales, business development activities within the investment community, as well as executing platform initiatives. Prior to Amherst, William served as Director of Business Development at USA Compression Partners LP, a publicly traded natural gas compression services provider where he was responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process. Earlier in his career, William spent two years at First Reserve where he focused primarily on North American midstream infrastructure investments. William holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
